Conciliation proceedings
If no satisfactory solution has been found even after you have provided feedback to the contact listed above, you may contact the Conciliation Board pursuant to Section 13a of the Hamburg Act on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (HmbBGG). The Conciliation Board is tasked with facilitating out-of-court dispute resolution in conflicts regarding accessibility between persons with disabilities and public authorities. The conciliation process is free of charge. Legal representation is not required.
Currently, the Ombudsman’s Office of the Senate Chancellery is performing the duties of the Conciliation Board, which is still to be established.
